Delightful to touch, hand-carved ebony wood embraces high quality white pearls within a unique riveted setting. The tiny rivets are forged from solid 14K gold and connect the chain to the pendant through a little window connection. The back side is also beautiful and can be reversed if you feel like an all gold sort of day. The hammer textured back side is handmade out of 18k and oxidized sterling bi-metal and shows a subtle color contrast with the 14k rivets and chain. The pearls move freely inside the pendant, and I've smoothed all the interior edges of the metal and wood so you're free to play with them as you with without worrying about scratching your pearls.

18K and sterling silver bi-metal - bi-metal has a substantially thicker layer of gold than gold filled, the reverse side of the bi-metal has been oxidized and protected with a hard wax to match the black ebony wood and make the opal colors pop.

Ebony is a great wood for jewelry. Since it is so dense and has an abundance of natural oils it doesn't need a finish. All my ebony pieces are hand-polished without any compounds to keep it natural. Ebony doesn't need much care, simply wipe it with a soft cloth if it needs cleaning. Do not submerge it in water and try to not get it wet. Wipe with a cotton swab (damp is ok) if you need to get into the recesses.
If for any reason you are not satisfied, we will gladly accept most items for exchange, refund or merchandise credit within 15 days, accompanied by a sales receipt to the Lola Zyscovich Jewelry E-Boutique.
